Dr. Katz analyzes your nutrient needs from the perspective of Functional Medicine with a goal of optimal health. Through the use of the Asyra system, applied kinesiology, lab analysis, and DNA testing (Wholistic Methylation), Dr. Katz may recommend dietary protocols (detoxification, gut repair, etc) and/or professional, high-quality nutrients in the form of supplements to support your healing process and bring increased vitality.
Your blood holds extensive information about your health. While most standard blood tests show a ‘normal’ range for each test, these ranges are averages based on the population as a whole and do not show optimal readings per individual. To learn more about what’s happening in your body, Dr. Katz may refer you for a number of blood tests. These tests are then entered into our specialized Functional Health Evaluation system; the result is a personalized and integrated wellness report with specific recommendations for your diet, supplements and lifestyle. The results are fine-tuned using kinesiology. There is a $25 fee for converting your blood work results from the lab tests to the Functional Health Evaluation system,
Dr. Katz also uses complex modern homeopathy generated from the Asyra (Asyra). These remedies impart information to the body via biochemical processes. This aids the body, accelerating healing and maximizing the effect of the nutritional supplementation.
Dr. Katz has studied with the founder of functional medicine, Jeffrey Bland, and attended seminars based on the work of Dr. Datis Kharrazian, a leading functional health expert. Dr. Katz uses many of Dr. Kharrazian’s clinical models and formulas relating to brain and blood chemistry, endocrinology, digestive health and more.
